On this page
Weekli (“Weekli,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates goweekli.com and provides programmatic advertising and marketing services. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what you can do about it.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us
- Contact details — name, email address, mobile phone number, company name
- Enquiry details — what you tell us about your campaign, your agency, or your clients when you complete a form or book a call
- Scheduling information — when you book a consultation through our booking widget
- Billing information — where you become a client. Card details are handled by our payment processor and are never stored by Weekli
Information collected automatically
- IP address, browser type, device type, referring page, and pages viewed
- Cookie and similar identifiers, as described in section 5
2. How we use information
- To respond to your enquiry and provide the services you ask for
- To send account and billing communications, including invoices, payment reminders, appointment confirmations, and service updates
- To send marketing communications, where you have separately consented
- To operate, secure, and improve our website and services
- To comply with legal and tax obligations
3. SMS and text messaging
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
Information may be shared with subcontractors in support services, such as customer service and messaging delivery providers, solely to provide the messaging service itself. All other use, sharing, or sale of mobile opt-in data and consent is prohibited.
Consent
When you provide your mobile phone number and tick the corresponding consent box on our website, you consent to receive text messages from Weekli at that number. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services, and is never required to submit a form.
Types of messages
We offer two separate consents, and you may give either, both, or neither:
- Account and billing messages — invoices, payment reminders, appointment confirmations, and service updates
- Marketing messages — offers, case studies, and news about our services
Consenting to one does not consent you to the other. We do not send marketing messages to people who have only consented to account and billing messages.
Frequency and cost
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Weekli is not responsible for charges assessed by your mobile carrier.
Opting out
You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. You will receive one final message confirming your opt-out, after which no further messages will be sent. To resume messages, reply START.
Help
For help, reply HELP to any message, or contact us at nrweek@goweekli.com or (608) 573-1524.
Carriers
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
4. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:
- Service providers who operate parts of our business on our behalf — our CRM and messaging platform, our payment processor, our email provider, our website host, and our analytics provider — each only to the extent needed to perform that service
- Professional advisers such as accountants and lawyers, where necessary
- Authorities, where required by law or to protect our legal rights
- A successor entity, in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets
As stated in section 3, mobile information and SMS consent are never shared for third-party marketing.
5. Cookies and analytics
We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the site, remember preferences, and understand how the site is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling them may affect how parts of the site work.
6. Advertising and audience data
Weekli provides programmatic advertising services to clients. In the course of that work we process audience and campaign data on our clients’ behalf, under their instructions and their own privacy notices. This policy covers information collected through goweekli.com and through our own relationship with you — not data we process as a service provider for a client.
7. Retention
We keep personal information for as long as needed for the purposes described above, and as long as required for tax, accounting, and legal obligations. Records of SMS consent and opt-out are retained for as long as we operate the messaging program, and afterwards as evidence of compliance.
8. Your choices and rights
- Email — unsubscribe using the link in any marketing email
- SMS — reply STOP to any message
- Access, correction, or deletion — contact us and we will act on your request as required by applicable law
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights over your personal information. Contact us and we will honor them where they apply.
9. Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Children
Our services are for businesses and are not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
11. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised. Material changes to the SMS program will be reflected here before they take effect.
